Jyothika criticizes 'jarring sound' in husband Surya's film Kanguva
Jyothika wrote an open letter to the makers of Kanguva, and while praising the film, also highlighted its flaws. “I am writing this note as Jyotika and a cinema lover, and not as actor Suriya's wife: Kanguva – a spectacle in cinema. Suriya, you are an actor and dare to dream of taking cinema forward I'm proud of you,” he wrote.
“The first half hour definitely doesn't work and the sound is hoarse! Most Indian films have flaws, so that's fair, especially in a film like this where one experiments a lot! And that's out of the entire 3 hours Just the first half hour,” he added.
Criticizing the critics, Jyotika said, “I am surprised by the negative reviews from the media and some fraternities, because they have not held such high standards for the most ignorant big budget films I have seen before, with old stories, Where women are chased, dialogues with double meanings are spoken and there are most of the action sequences.. And what about the positive aspects of Kanguva? The women have action sequences in the second part and for Kanguva. Young Boy's Love and Betrayal? I guess they forgot the good parts. Now it makes me wonder if anyone should ever read, listen to, or believe them! ”
