K-pop singer Ailee announces marriage to ‘Single’s Inferno’ actor Choi Si Hun
Korean-American K-pop singer Ailee, 35, is set to tie the knot with South Korean actor Choi Si Hun, 32, known for his role in Netflix’s “Single’s Inferno”, in April 2025.
Ailee’s agency, A2Z Entertainment, confirmed the wedding plans on Tuesday, stating that the couple became engaged in May. They met through a mutual acquaintance and have been openly dating for about a year, building a strong relationship founded on love and trust, according to The Straits Times.
“I have met someone who is not only supportive and caring but also someone I can rely on. His understanding and consideration made me want to spend the rest of my life with him,” Ailee shared the news with fans on her official fan website.

On Wednesday, both Ailee and Choi expressed their appreciation for fans’ support through social media.
Ailee wrote on Instagram: “Yesterday was a really happy day. Many of you sent blessings, cheers, and congratulations. We will live happily and joyfully.”
Choi referred to his fiancée as “Princess Ye-jin” in his post, saying: “I am confident that I will protect the most wonderful woman in the world, Ye-jin, for the rest of my life.”
Ailee, whose full name is Amy Lee Ye-jin, debuted in 2012 and is renowned for her powerful voice. Her hits include “I Will Show You” (2012) and “I Will Go to You Like the First Snow” (2017), which was featured in the soundtrack of the popular drama Goblin (2016–2017).
Choi began his acting career in 2019 with the romantic-comedy web series “I Started Following Romance”. He gained wider recognition in 2021 after appearing in the first season of Netflix’s hit dating reality show “Single’s Inferno”.
