In this first look, the Salman-inspired character is named Ayan Khan, while a gangster named Lion Bishnoi is also shown and compared to Dawood. According to the trailer, Lion Bishnoi is terrorized today just like Dawood was terrorized in the 90s.

The film also features two police officers: Inspector Sawant, who is considered a ‘torture specialist’, and DCP Patil, who is called a butcher. The teaser shows the police investigation, court cases and various other issues.

Salman Khan’s legal team has sent a legal notice to the producer and director of ‘Kaala Hiran’. It has demanded an immediate halt to the shooting and publicity of the film. The notice alleges that the film is based on the actor’s blackbuck poaching case. Also, it has been claimed that the film could damage Khan’s reputation and obstruct the ongoing court proceedings.

What did the makers of the film say?

Producer Amit Jani said that the film is entirely based on publicly available information. The film focuses on the struggle of the Bishnoi community for the protection of wildlife. In an interview to India Today, Amit Jani said, “This notice has been sent in haste. The film is not a Salman Khan biopic. This legal action is unnecessary.”
