Ranchi: Before the budget session of Jharkhand Assembly, Assembly Speaker Rabindranath Mahato has reconstituted 25 committees of the Assembly under the rules of procedure and conduct of business of the Assembly. In this, Kalpana Soren, JMM MLA from Gandey and wife of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, has been given a big responsibility.

Kalpana Soren has been made the chairperson of the Women and Child Development Committee. A notification has also been issued regarding this. BJP MLA from Barhi Manoj Yadav has been made the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee.
