Ranchi: Gandey MLA and Chief Minister Hemant Soren's wife Kalpana Soren visited Khunti on Friday. Kalpana Soren visited CNI Church and GEL Church of Murhu and met the people of the society and discussed about the development plans of Khunti. He targeted BJP for not developing Khunti district properly. Without taking names, he held former Union Minister and former MP from Khunti Arjun Munda and Khunti MLA Neelkanth Singh Munda responsible for the backwardness of Khunti.

After the Khunti tour, Kalpana Soren posted on her social media account For decades, BJP has developed Khunti only on paper. Claims of development and social upliftment are limited to pages only, and nothing has happened on the ground in the name of women empowerment. For this, local BJP MLAs and former MPs are directly responsible, whose policies have worked to push Khunti back.
Got an opportunity to meet people at the Skill Development Center located in Khunti. The need for an excellent skill development center for the youth and local people here is clearly visible. I was told that several times requests were made to BJP MLAs and former Union Ministers regarding this demand, but this serious need was ignored. Today I assure all of you that as soon as our government is formed, a state-of-the-art Skill Development Center will be established in Khunti before the end of 2025. The all-round development of Khunti is the priority of our government, and our government will make every possible effort to realize it.

Along with this, Kalpana Soren wrote an emotional post about meeting a girl in Khunti and said that during her visit to Khunti, I met a lovely girl who has big dreams. She said smilingly that she wants to become a doctor when she grows up, so that she can treat the people of Khunti here. When I asked, he innocently told, no matter what happens here, we have to go to Ranchi. His words touched my heart. I promised him that during the next tenure of Hemant ji, a big hospital will definitely be built in Khunti, so that no person from Khunti has to go to Ranchi or any other city due to lack of treatment.
