The film is directed by ever-green Mani Ratnam has officially wrapped up the film shooting today. The film holds a special place for both Kamal Hassan and Mani Ratnam as they were collaborating again after “Nayakan” which was released back in 1987. The makers unveiled the pictures from the film wrap-up. The shooting wrap is followed by a big party with the whole cast and crew of the film. Makers of Thug Life have dropped the major update about the film. The makers of dropped a video on twitter featuring moments from shooting of the film. The video frames many angles from different views from the sets to wide range of cast working on sets.
At the end of the video, the entire cast, lead by Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, and the most acclaimed filmmaker Mani Ratnam came together for a picture together. In one frame. The makers also wrote a note expressing that the film is now one step closer to its release, This made fans crazy over the release of the film. The initial release date of Kamal Hassan’s Thug Life is scheduled for December 2024. later some reports suggested that the movie will be pushed to 2025. And is expected to be a Pongal movie. Which will be the best festival treat from Kamal Hassan. Now after wrapping up the shooting the post-production work may start soon. Acclaimed director Mani Ratnam is taking it slow to make the film the best. They seem to be in no hurry to release the film anytime soon.
