The film Bharat Bhagya Viddhaata based on a true story; Know complete details

For some time now, the stars of Bollywood’s ‘Queen’ i.e. Kangana Ranaut have not been able to do anything special at the box office. The audience had high expectations from films like ‘Thalaivi’, ‘Dhaakad’, ‘Chandramukhi 2’, ‘Tejas’ and ‘Emergency’, but in terms of business, these films remained average. If we talk about Kangana’s last biggest hit, it was ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ released in 2019. But now Kangana is going to hit the theaters with a real life story, which can directly touch the hearts of the audience. His much-awaited film ‘Bharat Bhagya Viddhaata’ is all set for release in theaters on June 12.

What is the story of ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’?

This film is based on the horrific 26/11 terrorist attack in Mumbai in 2008, which shook the entire country. In this attack, 166 innocent people lost their lives and more than 300 people were injured. Although many films have been made on this accident, but the story of ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’ is a little different and very special. This film shows a true and brave incident that happened inside Cama & Albless Hospital in Mumbai. When the terrorists entered the hospital, the nurses and staff present there protected more than 400 patients without caring for their lives. This film is not the story of any one face, but of those unsung heroes who performed the duty of humanity on that dreadful night.

Who is Anjali Kuthle, whose role is played by Kangana?

The recently released trailer of the film has received an excellent response from the audience. Kangana Ranaut is in the lead role in the film and she is playing the role of real-life brave nurse Anjali Kuthle. On the night of 26 November 2008, when terrorists Ajmal Kasab and Abu Ismail entered Cama Hospital by firing indiscriminately at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), the shadow of death was looming everywhere. Outside, police and security guards were fighting the terrorists, and inside there was an atmosphere of chaos among the hospital staff. In such a critical time, nurse Anjali Kuthle showed amazing wisdom. He immediately acted wisely and shifted about 20 pregnant women along with their families to a safe room. When Kasab and his associates were firing bullets outside, Anjali stood as a shield for those innocent and unborn children. Not only this, Anjali Kuthle is the same brave woman who later went to the court room and identified terrorist Kasab and became the main witness against him.

Great star cast and supporting actors

Not only Kangana, but many other great actors will also be seen showing their acting skills in the film. Along with Kangana, glimpses of experienced actors like Girja Oak, Samita Tamble, Amrita Namdev and Isha Dey can be seen in the trailer, who make this strong story even stronger.

When and where will you be able to watch it on OTT after theatre?

If you are waiting to watch this film on OTT, then let us tell you that after its release in theatres, ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’ will be streamed on Zee5. However, the makers have not yet announced its official OTT release date. But according to the current trend of Bollywood, any film comes on OTT platform after about 45 to 60 days of its theatrical release, so it is expected that it will come on digital platform around August.

There will be a big clash at the box office

The path of Kangana Ranaut’s film is not going to be so easy on June 12, because it is going to compete with two other big films at the box office. ‘I will be back’ in which youth-popular stars like Vedang Raina, Diljit Dosanjh and Sharvari will be seen. The second is ‘Governor’ in which powerful acting king Manoj Bajpayee is in the lead role.
