Kangana Ranaut called Rahul Gandhi ‘Tapori’, said – ‘Women feel uncomfortable seeing him’, creates political uproar
A statement by BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has sparked a big debate in politics at this time. In fact, in the statement given outside the Parliament, Kangana Ranaut has raised questions on the behavior of Rahul Gandhi. Kangana Ranaut has said that Rahul Gandhi’s style makes women uncomfortable, after which the issue quickly became a political controversy. Kangana Ranaut alleged that Rahul Gandhi comes to Parliament in a “tapori” style and makes remarks during the conversation.
In fact, he has also said that Rahul Gandhi interrupts people giving interviews and his behavior does not seem right. This statement came after the incident when there was discussion and criticism about Rahul Gandhi having tea and breakfast in the Parliament complex on March 12. Many former officers and military officers had also expressed their displeasure by writing an open letter on this issue.
Congress leaders counterattack
In fact, after Kangana’s statement, Congress leaders have given a sharp reaction. Let us tell you that Congress MP Jyotimani said that Kangana’s statement shows her thinking and she has no right to comment on Rahul Gandhi. Along with this he also said that just being a celebrity does not make one a better leader. Meanwhile, Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh has sarcastically said that Kangana considers Parliament as a film studio. He said that Rahul Gandhi comes to Parliament to do politics and not to act.
Priyanka Chaturvedi also termed Kangana’s comment wrong
At the same time, Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has also termed Kangana’s comment wrong. Actually he said that there may be personal differences, but this kind of language is not right. Referring to her experience, Priyanka said that she has always seen Rahul Gandhi behaving respectfully towards women.
Questions have already been raised
Please note that this is not the first time there has been a controversy regarding Rahul Gandhi’s behavior in Parliament. Recently, former Prime Minister Deve Gowda had also expressed concern on this issue. In fact, he had written a letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi asking her to maintain the dignity of Parliament. Deve Gowda said in his letter that the dignity of democratic institutions is affected by continuous sloganeering, posters and demonstrations during the budget session of Parliament. He also said that protesting while sitting in the Parliament premises and having tea and breakfast is not the right tradition.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah had also commented on this issue. In fact, he had said that Parliament is the supreme institution of the country and such behavior there can harm India’s image at the international level.
