Kangana Ranaut expressed anger over AI photos, said- stop dressing others

Mumbai: Famous Bollywood actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut is once again in the news. The issue that brought him into the limelight this time is the photos taken outside his Parliament being altered by AI. In the original photos, she was seen in a traditional saree, while in the edited version she is shown in a pant-suit, shirt and tie. Kangana has registered her objection on social media, calling it a serious violation.

‘Stop the process of dressing others’

On December 29, Kangana shared a user’s post on Instagram Story which had AI edited photos of her. In this, Kangana was seen outside the Parliament in a blue, brown and rust colored formal suit. She wrote, “These are my original Parliament photos where I wore a saree. Stop using AI on my photos. This is really a violation beyond words. I have seen people showing me in different AI clothes and edited photos. Please stop using AI on others.”

Kangana Ranaut’s reaction to AI edited pictures

Kangana further said, “Please stop these AI edits. Let me decide for myself how I look and what to wear. This is my full right.” Since becoming the Lok Sabha MP from Mandi in June 2024, Kangana has adopted the tradition of wearing a saree in every Parliament session. She is promoting ‘Vocal for Local’ by choosing handloom sarees. Her fans are praising her saree style, whether it is with a sweater or trench coat in winter.

Misuse of AI is now becoming a big problem for celebrities. Many actresses have already become victims of fake photos. This post of Kangana has gone viral rapidly and her fans have supported her. People are discussing that changing someone’s photo without permission is a violation of privacy. Some people have also started a debate on the ethics of AI. Kangana is always known for her clear opinions and openly expresses her views when things go wrong.
