Patna High Court: Kangana Ranaut's problems may increase due to the film Emergency. Patna High Court has issued notice to many people including the film's producer and Bollywood actress and sought answers. Kalpana Singh, daughter-in-law of national poet Ramdhari Singh 'Dinkar', has filed a petition against him in the court. It has been alleged in the petition that the copyright of Dinkar's famous poem 'Sihasaan Khali Karo Ki Janata Aati Hai' has been infringed.

A single bench of Justice A Abhishek Reddy of the High Court heard the petition on Thursday. Only after this the court has issued notice against actress Kangana Ranaut and others. The petition demanded that the release of the film be banned, but the court refused.

Kalpana Singh alleged that Ramdhari Singh 'Dinkar''s famous line 'vacate the throne that the public comes' has been used in the film Emergency without taking permission from anyone. This film has been directed by Kangana Ranaut. Whereas, the lyricist is Manoj Muntashir. A line from this poem has been used in the promotion and song of the film Emergency. In this matter, a legal notice was also issued on August 31 last year, but it was not responded to. After this the film was also released.

Next hearing will be on March 7

Kalpana Singh, daughter-in-law of Ramdhari Singh 'Dinkar', has now demanded action against film producer and actress Kangana Ranaut in the copyright case. Let us tell you that this film has been released in theaters on 17 January 2025. Actress Kangana Ranaut is seen in the role of former PM Indira Gandhi in this film. The court has fixed March 7, 2025 for the next hearing in the case. The matter is also important because Ramdhari Singh 'Dinkar' is considered a national poet.
