New Delhi: Suriya’s highly-anticipated Tamil film A while celebrated its grand audio launch at 6 PM on October 265, 2024 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. Directed by Siva the upcoming film stars Suriya, Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Jagapathi Babu, Redin Kingsley, and Anandraj among others.
Suriya's A while is set to release in approximately 3,500 theatres on November 14, 2024. The movie is set to premiere in eight languages – Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, English, French, and Spanish.
Time for audio launch
A staggering number of over 7,000 fans gathered at the stadium to witness the stars in the flesh and listen to A while‘s tracks for the first time. The musical director of the soundtrack, Devi Sri Prasad or DSP took the stage to leave the audience in awe of his energetic singing and instrumental skills. The entire night had various high-profile personalities speak at the event and make a special appearance via a video message.

Kanguva's music and screenplay
On October 22, the makers of the film released Kanguva’s second track Yolosung by Devi Sri Prasad and Lavita Lobo. Describing the peppy song as ‘the soundtrack of a party life’. The first review of A while has been published by lyricist Madhan Karky, who is also part of the screenplay for the film. In the review, he explained that despite watching the movie numerous times during the dubbing process, the movie only gets more impactful with every watch.
As for the music, the lyricist described the soundtrack of the film as ‘majestic’ music that when combined with Suriya’s performance, makes the movie one of the finest pieces of art created. In the film, the lead actor, Suriya is set to play a dual role – a modern-day figure and a tribal warlord from ancient times.
