Kanishk Chauhan’s all-round talent helped India beat Pakistan in U19 Asia Cup 2025. Read

India U19 by Pakistan U19 To U19 Asia Cup 2025 produced an impressive all-round performance to defeat India by 90 runs in the 5th match of the IPL. Batting first, India scored a competitive score of 240 runs in 46.1 overs, in which aaron george Brilliant innings and Kanishk Chauhan Significant contribution was included. Pakistan’s batting never got off to a good start as India’s bowlers took wickets at regular intervals and bowled them out for 150 in 41.2 overs. India U19 started with positive intent but lost wickets early, allowing Pakistan to put the pressure on in the powerplay. Amidst these ups and downs, George emerged as the backbone of the Indian innings. Showing maturity beyond his experience, George played a well-paced innings of 85, combining strong defense and timely aggression. He skillfully rotated the strike and punished loose balls, ensuring that India did not lose momentum during the middle overs.

Kanishka provided excellent support to George with a brilliant inning of 46 runs. The right-handed batsman played a calculated innings, showing aggression when Pakistan tried to restrict the runs. Their partnership stabilized the innings and provided the foundation for India to reach a competitive score. However, Pakistan made a comeback through disciplined bowling towards the end of the innings.

Pakistan U19 bowling leadership Abdul Subhan Who proved to be their most effective bowler. Subhan took 3 for 42, breaking important partnerships and preventing India from scoring quickly in the final overs. His variety in pace and ability to maintain a consistent length helped Pakistan restrict India to 240, which was an even more challenging score.

Despite Subhan’s efforts, Pakistan’s fielding lapses and inability to maintain pressure from both ends allowed India to cross the 230-run mark, which ultimately proved far beyond Pakistan’s reach.

Struggle in Pakistan’s race despite resistance from Huzaifa Ahsan

Chasing 241, Pakistan U19 needed a strong start but lost wickets early, putting immediate pressure on the middle order. Huzaifa Ahsan Showed strength amid this decline, played a struggling inning of 70 runs. He showed composure against both pace and spin, attempting to revive the run with deliberate strokeplay.

However, the lack of support from the other end proved costly. Regular wickets ensured that Pakistan could never build a threatening partnership, and the required run rate continued to rise.

Kanishk Chauhan and Deepesh Devendran ensured victory

India’s bowling attack was clinical, led by player of the match Kanishka. After contributing with the bat, Chauhan returned with figures of 3/33, skillfully using his variations to dismantle Pakistan’s middle order. Deepesh Devendran Was also impressive, demolishing the lower order with brilliant figures of 3/16.

A disciplined bowling effort ensured that Pakistan were bowled out for 150 in 41.2 overs, ensuring a comprehensive 90-run win for India U19.
