Kannada actress Krishi Thapanda’s death: Suspenseful, depression or pressure of police case Kannada actress Krishi Thapanda’s death: Suspenseful, depression or pressure of police case – ..
A big news related to the film industry has come out from Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru, where a businessman has allegedly committed suicide at the residence of Kannada actress Krishi Thapanda. The deceased has been identified as Vaishakh. This incident came to light when the actress had gone to Yelahanka for some work and the house was vacant. In the initial investigation of the police, the case seems to be related to depression, but the controversial history of the deceased is making this case even more complicated.
Vaishakh was present at home, no suicide note found
According to the police, Vaishakh was staying at the house of actress Krishi Thapanda for the last one week. The incident took place last night around 8:30 pm. Police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it to Victoria Hospital for postmortem. At present, the police have not found any suicide note from the incident spot, due to which the police is seriously investigating every aspect.
Family discord and deep depression
Initial investigation has revealed that Vaishakh was suffering from severe mental stress and depression for some time, which was also undergoing treatment. Due to family disputes, he was living separately from his wife for the last one month. These problems in his personal life had completely broken him mentally, which probably became the reason for this suicidal step.
Was the stress of the extortion case the reason?
Along with Vaishakh’s death, his controversial past is also in the headlines. He was recently on the police radar in a high-profile extortion and intimidation case. The case is of February 2026, when a threatening letter was sent through courier to a renowned businessman and lawyer Arvind Reddy demanding extortion of Rs 6 to 7 crore. HAL police station had arrested Vaishakh in this case and interrogated him for 5 days. Although the Karnataka High Court later stayed further investigation against him, the legal action and pressure of the case had badly affected him.
Police are now trying to find out whether the reason for depression was personal or the stress of the legal case. At present, there is a sensation in the area and the police is also preparing to interrogate actress Krishi Thapanda.
