Kanpur Lamborghini accident: Shivam Mishra arrested in hit and run case
Four days after the famous Lamborghini accident in Kanpur, the police has arrested the main accused Shivam Mishra. Shivam is the son of KK Mishra, a tobacco businessman of the city. According to sources, he was preparing to surrender in the court, but before that the police reached his house and caught him.
Shivam will be presented in the court
It is being told that immediately after his arrest, Shivam was taken to a safe place for medical examination. After the necessary process is completed, he will be presented in the court. A day before this, on Wednesday, a person named Mohan had surrendered in the court and declared himself the driver of the car. But on the basis of the evidence found during the investigation, the police considered this claim to be misleading and took action considering Shivam as the main accused.

The incident took place on Sunday afternoon, when a speeding Lamborghini with Delhi number went out of control on VIP Road and climbed onto the footpath. Taufeeq Ahmed, a resident of Chamanganj, was seriously injured in the accident, his leg was deeply injured. Vishal and Sonu Tripathi, who were riding on the Bullet motorcycle, were also injured in the collision. The speeding car also badly damaged an auto and a bullet bike parked on the roadside. After the accident, the driver left the car and fled from the spot.
Tightened the screws and arrested Shivam
The police scanned the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the spot and proceeded with the investigation on the basis of the vehicle number. Shivam Mishra’s name came up during Monday and Tuesday. After this the police started tightening the noose on him. Police termed the driver’s alleged surrender on Wednesday as an attempt to divert the investigation. On Thursday, the police took action and caught Shivam.
