Kanpur Lamborghini scandal: Shivam Mishra gets big relief from the court, gets bail on a bond of Rs 20 thousand, know the whole matter
Kanpur. Shivam Mishra, the main accused in the famous high-profile Lamborghini accident, got a big relief from the court on Wednesday. Holding a special hearing amid the nationwide strike by lawyers and boycott of court proceedings, the court not only approved Shivam’s bail but also rejected the police’s remand application.
There was a tense atmosphere in the Kanpur court on Wednesday due to the strike, but the legal process continued in the case of Shivam Mishra. The police had sought remand of the accused for in-depth interrogation, which was rejected by the court due to lack of sufficient grounds.
Release on personal bond of Rs 20 thousand-
The court ordered Shivam Mishra to get bail on a personal bond of Rs 20,000. Also clarified that the accused will have to fully cooperate in the investigation and it will be mandatory to be present when called by the police.
Discussion on bail was already going on-
Earlier, there was intense discussion in the legal circles regarding the possibility of bail in sections with punishment of less than seven years. Some officials of the Bar Association had also raised the question that in such cases, bail can be granted only at the police level.
At present, the process of release of the accused has been started after the bail order. The next hearing of the case will be held on the scheduled date.
