The constable started appealing on social media

As soon as the video went viral on Instagram, thousands of people shared it and started strongly criticizing the conduct of the police. Fearing his identity being made public and departmental action being taken, the constable took to the comment section of the video and repeatedly requested for the post to be removed.

Taking cognizance of the matter, ACP Colonelganj Amit Kumar Chaurasia has ordered an investigation. Initial investigation has revealed a shocking information that the constable seen in the video is not a permanent staff of Gwaltoli police station. It is suspected that he was posted there on special duty for the temple program from some other unit or police station.
