Kapil Dev clearly said that he has no resentment towards Yograj, but he likes to keep distance from people who are bitter in life.
Kapil Dev gave a clear message
During a conversation in a recent podcast, Kapil Dev was asked a question about the statements of Yograj Singh in which he had made serious allegations against Kapil Dev several times in the past. To this, Kapil replied in a calm and positive manner and said that there is no complaint from his side.
He said that he still considers Yograj as his friend, but it is important to move forward in life and one should not carry bitterness along.
“I don’t like meeting bitter people.”
Kapil Dev said that he likes to meet people who are happy and spread positivity in others. According to him, there are ups and downs in a person’s life, but holding on to old things does no good to anyone.
He said that if a person always lives in resentment and bitterness, then people also start maintaining distance from him. Therefore, the best way is to move forward in life and preserve good memories.
Yograj Singh had made serious allegations
Yograj Singh had earlier claimed in an interview that when Kapil Dev became the captain of the Indian team, he dropped him from the team without any reason. He also said that at that time he was very angry and had reached Kapil Dev’s house.
These statements of Yograj had created a lot of controversy. Later his son and former India star all-rounder Yuvraj Singh Had also publicly apologized to Kapil Dev.
Kapil also spoke on Yuvraj’s apology
Kapil Dev said that there was no need for Yuvraj Singh to apologize. He praised Yuvraj and said that he is one of the great cricketers of India and has made a great contribution to the country.
Kapil said that sometimes such things happen in sports, which should be left behind with time.
“Yograj is a childhood friend”
Kapil Dev also said during the conversation that Yograj Singh has been his childhood friend and both of them have spent a lot of time together. He said that paths diverge in life, but that does not mean that good memories should be forgotten.
Giving an example, he said that just as the good moments of a relationship can be remembered even after it ends, similarly the good times spent with old friends should also always be remembered.

Kapil Dev said that not every person gets everything in life. Sometimes success comes to oneself and sometimes to the family. In such a situation, a person should be happy with whatever he has got and should stay away from negative thinking.
He also said that if Yograj Singh wanted to come and hug him even today, he would have no objection to it. According to him, positive thinking and the feeling of moving forward are more important than relationships in life.
