Kapil Sibal’s direct attack on BJP after Kejriwal’s acquittal, said – ‘Send him to jail, topple the government and win the elections’, CBI-ED is the weapon of the government.

New Delhi. Delhi’s Rose Avenue Court on Friday acquitted former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the Rs 100 crore liquor policy scam case. The court said that CBI has not been able to present sufficient evidence to prove the allegations. In this entire matter, senior Supreme Court lawyer Kapil Sibal has targeted the Central Government. Kapil Sibal said that I have been saying from the beginning that CBI and ED are a weapon of the government. The government misuses this weapon every day. He said that therefore there is no fact behind whatever allegations the BJP has made against other Chief Ministers.

Kapil Sibal said that these people (BJP people) make false allegations and get the Chief Ministers of the states arrested. Their endeavor is to somehow make the government fall. Then they are told to join BJP. He said that some leaders also join BJP due to the fear of CBI and ED, they are afraid that CBI and ED might come to their house. Sibal said that this is a political game of BJP people. They have ruined people’s lives and careers by using law as a weapon.

Sibal said that in such cases people do not get bail and it is said that the charges are very big. They have made crores of rupees from the scam but when investigation is done, neither crores of rupees nor evidence is found. Sibal said that this is only a conspiracy to send him to jail. Kapil Sibal said send him to jail, topple the government and win the elections.

Sibal said that when CBI’s case itself has no merit then what will ED’s case do? Kejriwal and his associates will also be acquitted in the ED case. He said that proceedings will take place only when there is a crime, but when the crime itself is over then where will the proceedings take place.

Senior advocate of the Supreme Court said that if the CBI did not have any evidence in the entire case, then how would they present the evidence. He said that I was saying from the beginning that this is a conspiracy. Sibal said that BJP people have misused such laws not only against Kejriwal but also against other people.

Giving a big relief in the much talked about alleged scam case related to Delhi liquor policy, the court has acquitted former CM Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. The court said in its decision that the prosecution could not present sufficient evidence to prove the charges, due to which both the leaders are acquitted of the charges. After the acquittal, Arvind Kejriwal (Former CM Arvind Kejriwal) cried bitterly while talking to the media.
