Controversy over property of Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband, now Priya Sachdeva files defamation case against Sanjay’s sister

Sunjay Kapoor Property Dispute: There has been a dispute going on for a long time regarding the property of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband, late Sanjay Kapoor. On one side are Sanjay’s mother and sister, while on the other side Sanjay’s wife Priya Sachdev is blaming each other. Priya made these allegations against her sister-in-law

According to the information received, Priya alleges that Mandhira Kapoor is continuously making derogatory comments against her on social media and on a podcast named ‘InControversial’. Priya claims that after her husband’s death, Mandhira has launched a systematic campaign against her, the aim of which is to hurt her social reputation and isolate her.

What did Priya say in the petition?

According to Priya Sachdev’s application filed in Delhi High Court, Mandira Kapoor Smith called Priya Kapoor an outsider and said that she has no legitimate right over the inheritance, property or business of the Kapoor family. He also reportedly said that the family’s wealth and inheritance belonged only to blood relatives and their children. It has also been alleged in the petition that Priya Kapoor was presented as if she was trying to take over the family inheritance after the death of Sanjay Kapoor. In such a situation, Priya Kapoor has demanded compensation of Rs 20 crore from the court.
