Karnataka Accident: Truck laden with fruits fell into a deep ditch; 10 killed, 15 injured in horrific accident

Karnataka Accident: A major road accident took place this morning on Yalapura Highway in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka. Here a truck full of fruits fell into a deep ditch. During this period, 10 people traveling in the truck died. While 15 people are said to be injured. Who have been admitted to KIMS Hospital, Hubli.

According to the information, a fruit truck fell into a 50 meter deep valley in Gulapura early on Wednesday. The victims, all fruit vendors, had left from Savanur and were heading towards the Yalapura fair to sell fruits. This accident happened at around 4 in the morning. Uttara Kannada Superintendent of Police M Narayan said they were traveling on the Savanur-Hubli road, when the accident occurred in a forested area.

The Superintendent of Police said, “Around 4 in the morning, the truck driver went to the left while trying to give way to another vehicle and fell into a valley about 50 meters deep. There is no safety wall on the road in the valley.” “10 people died on the spot and 15 were seriously injured,” the officer said. The injured have been admitted to KIMS hospital in Hubli.”
