In the viral footage, the officer is shown behaving in an objectionable manner with a woman in his official uniform while on duty inside a government office. Dr. Ramachandra Rao, currently posted as Director General in the Civil Rights Enforcement Directorate, has completely denied these allegations. He described the viral video as completely morphed and called it a conspiracy to tarnish his image. The government is now investigating whether the video is genuine or has been prepared through tampering.
