Objectionable video of DGP rank IPS officer with a woman goes viral, creates uproar on social; Know what is the whole story
Karnataka There has been a stir in administrative and political circles after an alleged objectionable video of Dr. Ramachandra Rao, a senior DGP rank IPS officer posted in the capital Bengaluru, surfaced. This video, which is becoming increasingly viral on social media, has raised serious questions on the functioning, discipline and moral values of the police department.
In the viral footage, the officer is shown behaving in an objectionable manner with a woman in his official uniform while on duty inside a government office. As soon as the matter came to light, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah took it seriously and sought complete information from the department and orders have been given to investigate the authenticity of the video.

It is being told that this video has been recorded secretly. In the footage, a DGP rank officer is seen hugging and kissing the woman. The incident reportedly took place inside the Government Chamber, where official meetings and administrative work usually take place.
DGP Ramachandra Rao rejected the allegations
Dr. Ramachandra Rao, currently posted as Director General in the Civil Rights Enforcement Directorate, has completely denied these allegations. He described the viral video as completely morphed and called it a conspiracy to tarnish his image. The government is now investigating whether the video is genuine or has been prepared through tampering.

According to reports, the women had reached the officer’s office on different occasions and each time their clothes were different, which has further deepened the suspicion regarding the case.
