Karnataka NEET UG 2024 Counselling: Mop-up round option entry begins; check seat allotment details

New Delhi: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bangalore has started the Karnataka National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 counselling mop-up round option entry process. The KEA NEET mop-up round option entry 2024 last date is October 14. The KEA NEET UG mop-up round details are available on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Under the mop-up round, the unallotted medical seats after round 2 counselling have been provided to the candidates. Candidates who have not been allotted any seat in round 1 and round 2 or who had their seats forfeited due to non-deposition of caution money can participate in the mop-up round.

There are a total of 10,995 MBBS and 3,445 BDS seats in the institutes of Karnataka. The seats are divided into four categories which include government, private, Non-Residential Indian (NRI) and other seats.

Karnataka NEET Cut-Off

The NEET Karnataka cut-off 2024 is different for each category, college and course. The factors upon which the cut-off depends are the number of candidates, the NEET-UG exam difficulty level, and the availability of seats. Those who secure the NEET cut-off are eligible for counselling and seat allotment.

KEA Bangalore conducts the Karnataka NEET counselling for 85 per cent state quota and 100 per cent private college seats based on the NEET scores. The authority started the mop-up round counselling process on October 5. Candidates participating in the mop-up round are required to make payment of the medical course fee to be eligible for choice filling.
