Karnataka police investigating 5 arrested for hoisting Palestinian flag

Live Hindi News :- Miladhi Nabi processions were held in Bengaluru, Kolar, Mangalore, Thavankere, Chitradurga, Mysuru and other places in Karnataka last Monday night. In this case, a video of some Muslim youths carrying the flag of Palestine during a procession at 3 places namely Kolar, Chitradurga and Thavanagere was released on social media. The organizers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal have opposed this.

Leader of Opposition in Karnataka R. Ashok said, “The ruling Congress in Karnataka is working in favour of one party and they are engaged in encroaching activities. A few months ago they raised pro-Pakistan slogans in the assembly premises itself. Now they are marching with the Palestinian flag. Strict action should be taken against those who are sowing the seeds of separatism among the people.”

He stressed that clarifications should be given, especially about their background. Karnataka Home Minister Parameshwara said, 'The police have registered 3 cases in this regard. 6 people have been arrested on the basis of video evidence. He said, “Interrogation of the arrested people is going on.”
