Family members thought he would become a doctor

The actor was born on 22 November 1990 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Where his real name was Karthik Tiwari. His father Manish Tiwari is a pediatrician and mother Mala Tiwari is a gynecologist. Karthik's sister Kritika Tiwari is also a doctor. In such a situation, Karthik's parents felt that their son would also be the next doctor of this country. After completing his studies, he took admission in engineering college.

Karthik Aryan had told in an interview that he had not even told his parents that he wanted to become an actor. Actually, Karthik used to give auditions by lying to his family members. Not only this, Karthik never went to college and he had said that 'I used to give so many auditions that everyone from students to teachers knew that I had nothing to do with college'. Karthik told that once he left the viva exam and went for audition. When he came back, he requested the teacher to take his viva. On which the teacher said that she would also pass him if he told only his name. Karthik could not tell the name of the teacher and failed in the viva.

Struggled for so many years

Talking about the struggle of his first film, the actor said, “My struggle for the first film was that it took me two-three years. I used to look for auditions on Facebook. Auditions were being held, but I never got an audition for the right film, it took two and a half years. This is how I came to know about the Panchnama of love. I sent a photo of myself with my friends and wrote – I am the one you are looking for. The audition went on for 6 months and finally 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' happened.

Degree completed after first film

'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' was released in 2011. Karthik also worked in the next series of the same film. But even when Karthik informed his family about getting his first film, his mother advised him to complete his degree. Karthik completed his engineering degree even after getting his first film.
