Karuna Pandey will be seen in a double role in Sony SAB's show 'Pushpa Impossible'.
Karuna Pandey plays a double role in Pushpa Impossible. In this, she plays the character of both Pushpa and her fierce lookalike Basanti Mishra. In a completely different avatar, Basanti is a simple tea seller from Kanpur who arrives at Bapodara Chawl with a mysterious agenda on the orders of Pushpa's business rival Viren (Hemant Kher). In contrast to Pushpa's loving and optimistic nature, Basanti is a harsh woman with a sharp tongue. She has little patience for nonsense, influenced by her hard life and secret past.
Karuna Pandey said, playing a double role has been an exciting challenge for me. While Pushpa is the epitome of love, optimism and resilience, Basanti is her complete opposite. Strict and outspoken. However, there is also a sense of mystery around Basanti as beneath her angry behavior lie her own fears and weaknesses. This duality makes him incredibly relatable despite his rough edges. I am curious to see how her intense personality and mysterious past create an engaging dynamic for the audience, especially when she interacts with Pushpa.
