Kashmir Tulip: Ready to welcome…More than 2 lakh tulips in picturesque Sanasar, will attract tourists

Jammu. More than two lakh blooming tulips are ready to welcome the tourists in the beautiful Sanasar situated amidst the lush green meadows of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir and this garden will soon be opened for the general public, marking the beginning of the new tourist season. Ramban Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ilyas Khan said that the first tulip garden of Jammu region has been developed in Sanasar and more than two lakh tulips of 25 different varieties have been planted in it, which will attract tourists from all over the country.

He said that the view of tulips blooming in this garden spread over about 35 kanals of land is very attractive and charming. He said that a golf course is also being developed in Sanasar by the Patnitop Development Authority, which will promote golf activities along with other tourist facilities and overall development of this tourist destination.

Patnitop and Sanasar will also be promoted as suitable locations for wedding ceremonies and film shootings. District Horticulture Officer Vikrant Sharma said that the number of tourists is expected to increase in the coming days and they will be able to enjoy this beautiful tulip garden after reaching Sanasar.

He informed that more than two lakh tulips of 25 varieties will soon be in full bloom and the garden will soon be opened for tourists. It is noteworthy that in the year 2023, the government had approved the plan for the development of the largest tulip garden in Jammu division, under which this garden has been developed in Sanasar.
