Airport officials said about 30 percent of the aircraft remained on the runway while the remaining 70 percent were parked on the taxiways. Because of this the authorities had to stop all domestic and international flights services.
Officials said that the reason could be hard landing, tire pressure problem or other technical problems, although a full investigation is underway. Spokesperson Bhool said that the passengers were evacuated safely using the Evacuation Slide.
At the same time, hotel arrangements were made for the passengers going from Kathmandu. Officials are also making arrangements to send another flight for those passengers who have to go to another place.
