Kawasaki KLX 230 : Kawasaki has launched its first road-legal dual-sport motorcycle KLX 230 in India. The ex-showroom price of this bike is Rs 3.3 lakh. The KLX230 features a powerful yet slim design that is reminiscent of the KLX family. It has hexagonal headlights, a thin single-piece seat, a beak-like fender and a 7.6-litre fuel tank. Additional features include a monotone LCD with optional Bluetooth connectivity and an optional lower seat height for better accessibility. It will be available in Kawasaki's popular Lime Green and Battle Gray color options.

Single-cylinder air-cooled engine
The Kawasaki KLX 230 is powered by a 233cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that makes 18.1bhp and 18.3Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Hardware on the KLX 230 includes long travel telescopic front forks and a monoshock while braking duties are performed by single front and rear discs mounted on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels. These come wrapped in road-biased tyres.
