News that will give a big political blow to Bihar’s ruling party Janata Dal United (JDU) has come to light. KC Tyagi, a strong leader of the party and a trusted companion of Nitish Kumar for years, said goodbye to JDU on Tuesday 17 March. Interestingly, Tyagi’s resignation has come just a day after Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s landslide victory in the Rajya Sabha elections. Which has given rise to many discussions in political circles.
KC Tyagi has clarified that during the recent membership campaign of the party, he did not renew his membership, which directly means his formal departure from the party.
