Kedarnath Dham Yatra 2026: Preparations for Char Dham Yatra 2026 have intensified and this time special attention is being paid to making the facilities for the devotees better than before. In this series, Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority has successfully completed the selection process of heli shuttle service for Kedarnath Dham.

Selection of operators through transparent process

The authority has selected a total of 8 helicopter operators, keeping the entire process transparent. These operators will be deployed at different helipad centers, so that the crowd can be controlled during the yatra and the devotees can get timely service.

According to the information, 2 operators from Guptkashi, 4 from Fata and 2 from Sirsi will operate the heli service. This system has been made keeping in mind the number and demand of passengers.

Fare determination, relief to passengers

Keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, the fares for heli service have also been fixed.

– Guptkashi to Kedarnath: Rs 6,077 per passenger
– Phata to Kedarnath: Rs 4,840 per passenger
– Sirsi to Kedarnath: Rs 3,043 per passenger

However, GST will be applicable separately on these fares. The fare has been determined in such a way that more and more people can avail this facility.

Travel will be easier with online booking

Booking of tickets for heli service will be completely online, which can be done through the authorized portal of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation. This will increase transparency and eliminate the role of brokers. Passengers will also have to pay a convenience fee during booking, but in return they will get a safe and organized travel experience.

Special emphasis on safety and quality

The authority has made it clear that all safety standards will be strictly followed during the heli service. Special attention will be given to every aspect from operation of flights to safety of passengers. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to the operators to provide high quality services, so that the devotees do not face any kind of inconvenience.
