Omar Abdullah will leave Budgam seat!

Omar Abdullah is likely to retain the Ganderbal assembly seat and vacate the Budgam seat. Sources say that this decision has been taken because Ganderbal is emotionally important for Omar, as this is the same constituency from where his political journey in the state started. Not only this, this seat has also been an ancestral seat for the Abdullah family. From here, Omar was led by his father Dr. Farooq Abdullah and before that his grandfather Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah.
