Kejriwal dumped his iconic muffler & red sweater for costly jackets? here’s the truth

New Delhi: Former Delhi Chief Minister has slammed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for raising ‘irrelevant’ issues in their campaign for the upcoming assembly elections. Kejriwal said the saffron party was more concerned about the brand, colour and price of his jackets and shirts.

The AAP chief said that instead of making an issue out of his clothes, BJP must try to share their vision on issues directly affecting the common man of the national capital.

“I still wear my muffler when I am outside, I removed it (muffler) just now, before entering the studio. BJP says Kejriwal is wearing Rs 25,000 jacket, but I want to tell them it is very easily available for just Rs 2,500 in Chandni Chowk,” said the former Delhi CM during an exclusive interaction with TV9 Bharatvarsh.

Kejriwal challenges BJP to share their vision for Delhi

During the interaction, Kejriwal was also joined by Delhi CM Atishi, and party colleagues – Manish Sisodia, Raghav Chadha, and Saurabh Bhardwaj. Kejriwal challenged BJP to share their vision for Delhi.

“People of Delhi have nothing to do with the price of Kejriwal’s jacket, shirt or trouser; public is worried about issue like their future, employment and development of Delhi. So, BJP should speak about their vision on these issues,” added Kejriwal.

Will abusing me help in Delhi’s development: Kejriwal

“All my election speeches mostly include details about the work done by my government in last 10 years, and my vision for Delhi, while BJP’s campaign is based on abusing me. I want to ask them, will abusing me help in Delhi’s development,” added Kejriwal.

In the run up to the Delhi polls, AAP, BJP and Congress parties are involved in an intense election campaign before February 5 when voting will take for the 70 Assembly seats in the national capital. The counting of votes and announcement of results will take place in February 8.
