Indian student shot dead in America, Kejriwal lashed out at central government

New Delhi: Kejriwal has targeted the BJP led central government over the murder of an Indian student in America. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Monday claimed that the poor education system in the country and 'lack of opportunities' are forcing the youth to go abroad.

A 26-year-old student from Telangana was allegedly shot dead by unknown people in America. The student, identified as K Ravi Teja, had gone to America in 2022 and was looking for a job after completing the 'MS' course eight months ago.

Calling it a 'matter of great concern', Kejriwal demanded the Center to pay immediate attention to the incident. He posted on 'X', “This news is very sad. In the last few months, many such incidents have come to light, where the youth of our country were killed abroad. This is a very worrying thing. Poor education system and lack of opportunities are forcing the youth to go abroad.”

He said that if we provide quality education and better opportunities to our youth in India, then they will not need to go abroad. I request the Central Government to immediately pay attention to this issue.”
