The actress showed off her kitchen—and her cabinet of snacks—in a recent home tour.
Key Points
- Keke Palmer’s snack cabinet is stocked with gluten-free options, particularly rice chips.
- The actor shared that her family loves her rice chips—often eating them before she can get to them.
- Palmer’s organized kitchen reflects her love for snacks, with labeled shelves full of family-friendly treats.
Actress Keke Palmer has been making the rounds in the press lately, showing off her signature humor and wit while promoting her latest film—I Love Boosters—and her new wellness app. During her Architectural Digest tour of her Los Angeles home, Keke shared that she loves her cozy kitchen. The California ranch-style house has a traditional kitchen that looks like it’s part of a luxurious sitcom set.
The classic, roomy kitchen has a farmhouse-style table pushed up to a cushioned booth, clean lines and meticulously organized cabinets. Palmer’s kitchen is enviable for many reasons—hello, Stanley cup cabinet—but her snack cabinet might be the room’s crowning glory.
“I love snacks,” she says, adding, “I always try to overdo it with the organizing.” Labels adorn all of her pull out shelves, which are filled with an array of snacks, enough to satisfy a household of kids—Palmer’s own son, plus her nieces and nephews who live with her (along with Palmer’s sisters). But Palmer has one complaint about the cabinet, and it’s one that’s come up before.
“Someone ate all of my rice chips,” Palmer says in the video. “They all try and act like they don’t like gluten-free food, but they do!”
Since she was all out of the rice chips in question, we didn’t get a chance to see what kind Palmer typically goes for. But rice chips are a great snack option for people who eat gluten-free or who need an alternative to potato chips. (We also spied some Boulder Canyon Chips, which are kettle-style potato chips, in Palmer’s cabinet.) When rice chips are out of stock, it looks like the actor loves Blue Diamond Nut Thins, which we also saw in her cabinet. But sometimes you just need a crispy rice chip to satisfy your need for a crunchy snack.
Whether you need some good chip options because you’re avoiding gluten or want to see what Keke’s family loves so much about them, stocking your own snack cabinet with rice chips makes for a delicious snack option. Need a few more gluten-free snacks to keep on rotation? Here are a few we love:
