Ken Head’s epic workout: 600 push-ups, 10k runs, and how he beat cancer at 92!

New Delhi: Ken Head, a 92-year-old from Bristol, is defying age with an extraordinary fitness routine. His daily exercises include running up to 10 kilometers and doing an impressive 600 push-ups. Despite his age, Ken is proving that staying fit is possible with the right mindset.

Not only is Ken a fitness enthusiast, but he is also a cancer survivour. After battling skin cancer and recovering from an e-bike accident, Ken has returned to his active lifestyle, inspiring others with his strength and determination.

Proper Diet and Fitness Routine

Ken believes in keeping life simple and moving forward. His daily routine begins with stretching and push-ups, followed by his run. Occasionally, he enjoys boxing and trekking, adding variety to his workouts. For him, exercise isn’t just about fitness; it’s a way to embrace life fully.

A big part of his health success lies in his diet. Each morning, he enjoys soaked wheat, oats, and chia seeds. His favorite meal includes a bowl of milk with banana, figs, raisins, and nuts—a simple yet nutritious way to fuel his body for the day ahead.

Overcoming Cancer with Strength

Ken’s journey hasn’t been without challenges. A year and a half ago, he had a serious accident on an e-bike, which led to the discovery of skin cancer in his leg. After several tests and surgeries, Ken fought the disease with the same determination he applies to his fitness routine.

Although he couldn’t run for a while, Ken soon returned to his beloved workouts. Now, fully recovered, he even participates in triathlons, enjoying the competition rather than seeing it as a challenge.

Ken’s remarkable story is a powerful reminder that age is just a number. With consistent exercise and a healthy diet, he has managed to overcome life’s challenges, including cancer, and continues to live a vibrant, active life.
