Ken Karunaas’ Youth achieves another milestone, makers call it the “greatest reward”

Ken Karunaas’ directorial debut Youthwhich also saw him playing the lead role, recently made a splash on the big screen, garnering positive reviews as well as commercial success at the box office, earning over Rs 82 crores  at the end of four weeks. While the film recently saw its OTT premiere, Youth continued its theatrical run with a strong interest among audiences, and recently completed its successful 50th day on the big screen.

Thanking audiences for making Youth a grand success, the makers reflected on the film’s genesis and what the achievement means for them. “A young team came together with nothing but passion, hard work, and a dream to create something special. We believed in our story, but it was your love that transformed it into a 50-day celebration,” they wrote, noting how the laughs, cheers and celebrations from audiences for their film has been the “greatest reward”.

Released in theatres on March 19, Youth follows the story of Praveen (Ken Karunaas), who has to navigate the ups and downs of high school romance as he tries to salvage his academic performance for the sake of his parents.
