Every household is assured of uninterrupted and affordable electricity. This includes special subsidy for families with ‘PM Surya Ghar’. All poor families are assured of two free LPG cylinders every year. One LPG cylinder is promised during Onam and another during Christmas.
Free water supply to all households
BJP has also promised to supply free water to all households. Renovation and conservation of all water bodies in Kerala has also been promised. A high-speed rail network connecting Thiruvananthapuram to Kannur has also been promised.
Nilambur-Nanjangud Railway Project
In this manifesto, BJP has said that it will speed up the Nilambur-Nanjangud railway project by restarting it. It will extend the Thrissur-Guruvayur railway line to Tirur, which will boost trade and tourism in Kerala. It promises to develop world-class logistics and industrial infrastructure around the Vizhinjam port.
