Kerala New Cabinet Minister Latest Update: After a lot of turmoil in Kerala, now the picture of the new government is almost clear. On Sunday evening, United Democratic Front (UDF) leader VD Satheesan announced that the new government will be sworn in at 10 am on Monday. The most interesting thing is that this is going to happen after almost 60 years, when the entire UDF cabinet will take oath together. A total of 21 ministers will take oath, including VD Satheesan, nominated for the post of Chief Minister.

Giving information about the swearing-in, VD Satheesan said that the list of 20 ministers has been submitted to the Governor. If their names are added to this, a total of 21 people will become part of the new government. He said that this entire list has been sent to the Governor after the approval of the party high command. However, it was not easy to please everyone about the new cabinet.

‘Special attention of all sections of the society’

On this, VD Satheesan clearly said that there were many leaders who were eligible to become ministers, but keeping in mind the regional and social balance, they could not get a place. That is, while forming the government, not only politics but also the area and different sections of the society have been given special attention.

Most ministers from Congress quota

Congress has the maximum number of ministers in the new government of Kerala. From Congress, VD Satheesan, Ramesh Chennithala, K Muraleedharan, Sunny Joseph, Bindu Krishna, AP Anil Kumar, PC Vishnunadh, M Liju, Rosy M John, T Siddique, OJ Janish and KA Tulsi have got places. Whereas, from Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), PK Kunhalikutty, PK Bashir, N Shamsuddin, KM Shaji and VE Abdul Ghafoor will become ministers. Apart from this, Mons Joseph from Kerala Congress, Shibu Baby John from RSP, Anup Jacob from Kerala Congress (Jacob) and CP John from CMP have also been included in the cabinet.

Tamil Nadu CM Vijay also invited

New Chief Minister of Kerala Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi will attend the swearing-in programme. At the same time, Wayanad MP and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi is also expected to come. Although, Sonia Gandhi The situation is not clear yet regarding K’s involvement. Party sources said that the Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states Karnataka, Telangana and Himachal Pradesh will also be present at the function. An invitation has also been sent to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, but there is no confirmation from his side yet.

Swearing in will take place at 10 am on Monday

The swearing-in of the new government will take place at 10 am on Monday at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. The Congress-led UDF has registered a major victory in the recently held assembly elections by winning 102 out of 140 seats. Now everyone’s eyes are on the swearing-in ceremony to be held at 10 am on Monday.
