kerala story 2: There is relief news for the makers of the film ‘The Kerala Story 2’. The interim stay on the release of this film has been completely removed by the Division Bench of Kerala High Court. The Division High Court bench has taken this decision after considering the seriousness of the matter and listening to all the parties. After this order of the court, the way for the release of the film has been completely cleared. Let us tell you that earlier, the single judge bench had imposed a stay of 15 days, expressing concern over the content of the film and its impact on communal harmony.

Justice Thomas had imposed an interim stay

It is noteworthy that Justice Thomas had stayed the release of the film at 3 pm on Thursday, February 26, and had also asked the Central Board of Film Certification to investigate the representation against the film. On the other hand, the Division Bench called an urgent special sitting at 7.30 pm on the same day to hear the appeal filed by the producers of the film. After a detailed hearing that lasted for more than two hours, the bench reserved its decision on the matter. Industry experts say that the legal battle may have increased people’s interest, which may affect the box office prospects in the coming days.

The way for the release of the film is completely clear

Today i.e. on 27th February at 4 pm, the Division Bench of Justice SA Dharmadhikari and PV Balakrishnan stayed the interim order of Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas. In which the release of the film was postponed for 15 days. The biggest thing is that the Kerala High Court order came on the same day when the film was to be released. Till this morning the money for the tickets was being refunded. By afternoon the whole situation changed. There was also news that on Friday, the money of the audience who had made advance booking of the film was refunded, however now after the decision of the Division Bench, the way for the release of the film has been completely cleared.
