Pune. New revelations are being made in the death case of Ketan Vishal Agarwal of Pune district of Maharashtra. The fiancee and her lover reportedly planned and executed it. The case of the death of Ketan Agarwal, son of a well-known businessman from Maharashtra, after falling while taking photographs at Lohagarh Fort near Pune, has now taken a serious turn. Police say her fiancee and her boyfriend allegedly pushed her into the valley.

Police have described this incident as disturbing. This has shocked both the families and the investigators. An officer investigating the case said that the question is how can someone be so heartless.
What happened on Lohagarh trekking?
Ketan Agarwal went on Lohagarh Trekking with his fiancee Siya Goyal on Thursday, June 18 to celebrate her birthday. He had planned a future with her and the two were scheduled to get married in November.
Initially, the fiancee told the police that while getting photographs clicked, Ketan’s foot slipped and he fell into the valley. After a three-hour operation, the rescue team took out the body. However, during the investigation, Lonavala Police found some serious discrepancies. Suspicion arose from mobile data, call records and statements of people present at the spot. After this the police took the fiancee and lover into custody.

Investigators say Ketan’s fiancee and her lover allegedly pushed him into a deep ravine. The police are now trying to find out whether anyone else had helped the accused.

Ketan was the son of well-known construction businessman Vishal Agarwal from Pimpri-Chinchwad near Pune in Maharashtra. Their marriage was to take place in Udaipur, Rajasthan in November. According to sources, the families had booked a palace in Jaipur for Rs 17 crore and arranged for two private planes to transport the guests. Preparations were in full swing. A relative said the family were happy. This incident has caused deep shock to both the families.
What was the purpose?
According to the police, Ketan’s fiancee Siya Goyal did not want to marry him. They reportedly planned to get rid of Ketan and took the help of a friend, who was also her lover. She took Ketan to Lohagarh for trekking on his birthday. When he got the opportunity, the friend allegedly pushed Ketan into a deep valley with the help of others. Ketan died on the spot. Police have registered the case and further investigation is underway and both the accused are in custody.
