Kevin Pietersen, Mohammad Hafeez, Ahmed Shehzad launch a scathing attack on PCB for humiliating Gary Kirsten

Kevin Pietersen, Mohammad Hafeez, and Ahmed Shehzad slammed the Pakistan Cricket Board for forcing Gary Kirsten to resign as white-ball head coach. They took to social media to question the PCB for letting go of one of the best coaches in the world.

Gary Kirsten left the national team with immediate effect after working as a head coach for a few months.

Jason Gillespie has been appointed as head coach for shorter formats on an interim basis as Pakistan will soon travel to Australia.

Under Kirsten, Pakistan failed to cross the group stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Gary Kirsten’s input was ignored when naming the squads for the tour of Australia.

Pietersen expressed his surprise that Pakistan didn’t give Kirsten freedom.

“How can Pakistan Cricket lose Gary Kirsten’s with his resumè in coaching? One step forward the last few weeks and two steps back today! Stop doing it to yourselves. Too much talent to keep doing this kind of stuff!,” the legendary England National Cricket Team batsman wrote on X.

Ahmed Shehzad blasted the apex body of Pakistan cricket.

“Another day Another Humiliation for PCB Management. Empty promises & lies don’t go well with everyone. We have to stick to our words, if we want to survive in MODERN day cricket,” the Pakistan National Cricket Team batsman wrote on X.

Mohammad Hafeez was left disappointed. “Total Incompetence #Chaos.”
