Key sessions and speakers on Day 2 of the News9 Global Summit 2024
New Delhi: The News9 Global Summit is set to continue with an exciting second day on November 22, 2024. Day 2 will showcase a fresh array of key sessions featuring thought leaders from both India and Germany. These discussions will focus on sustainable growth, technological advancements, and the deepening of India-Germany relations, with contributions from influential figures in business, politics, and culture.
Held at Stuttgart’s iconic MHP Arena, the News9 Global Summit is organised by TV9 Network in collaboration with VfB Stuttgart. This event aims to highlight the shared commitment of both nations towards sustainability and innovation while addressing global challenges.
Key sessions and speakers on Day 2

Cem Özdemir, Germany’s Federal Minister of Food & Agriculture, will present on the “Agenda for Sustainable Growth,” outlining Germany’s strategies and goals for a sustainable future.
Gautam Reddy K, CEO of AM Green Ammonia, will lead a session on “Energy Transition: Fuelling Green Growth,” discussing the role of sustainable energy solutions in driving economic development.
- Bridging the divide: Developed vs developing nations
Professor Dr. Andreas Bett, Director of Fraunhofer ISE, will speak on the “Green Dilemma,” addressing the challenges and opportunities of green growth for both developed and developing nations.
Ajay Mathur, Director General of the International Solar Alliance, will share insights into the role of solar energy in shaping global energy systems.
Vibha Dhawan, Director General of TERI, will discuss the opportunities sustainable development brings in overcoming modern challenges.

A session on “Artificial Intelligence: Advantage India?” will be led by experts such as Stephan Baier, Partner & Global Industry Sector Lead Supplier at MHP, and Stefanie Baade, Deputy MD of the German AI Association. They will explore the evolving role of AI and its impact on India’s future.
Dr. Jan Niehues, Head of AI for Language Tech at the Institute of Anthropomatic, and Harshul Asnani, President-Europe at Tech Mahindra, will delve into the advancements in AI, with Anand Ramamoorthy, MD of Micron India, offering insights into India’s position in the global AI landscape.
