KGMU Foundation Day: CM Yogi said, there is no shortage of money, think about improving services and behave well.
Lucknow. A program was organized on the occasion of 120th Foundation Day of King George Medical University (KGMU 120th Foundation Day) on Saturday in Lucknow, the capital of UP. On this occasion, chief guest CM Yogi Adityanath honored the students.

CM Yogi said that the students who graduated from KGMU have brought pride to him. The flow of time waits for no one. When it was established in 1905, it was started with Rs 10 lakh. Said that today its scope is going to be in the area of 150 acres. Very few institutions in the country have so many seats.

CM Yogi said that a person and an institution are identified in times of crisis. Many people leave the field when challenged. That is the time when a person has to take a decision. At that time, the one who accepts the challenge shines. The one who runs away is scattered. We have to increase the pride of the institute and ourselves. Keep in mind that no patient should leave disappointed.
In his address, CM Yogi said that the government has given everything. Not only today, we have seen the action plan for the next 100 years. KGMU has set an example during the biggest pandemic of the century, Corona. Some doctors of a medical college quarantined themselves. But, the test was found negative. I suspended him.
Technology and medical departments will have to work together
CM Yogi said that the doctors of KGMU worked. Set an example. Said that funds worth Rs 377 crore have been sanctioned for a new building for the surgery. The lorry for fire security is being expanded at a cost of Rs 70 crore. Said to further accelerate mutual cooperation. Technology and medical departments will have to work together.
CM Yogi further said that heart doctors had come from America during the Covid pandemic. He studied from Kanpur. After B.Tech, he went to America and became a doctor. The government has attacked corruption.

Data center will be established
CM Yogi said that the Center for Excellence Department takes the money. Unable to spend on time. After withdrawing the PLA money, he paid the salaries of the state personnel. The departments which are unable to spend the sanctioned amount by 31st March should take back the money. There should be allocation again next year. A data center will be established here. For this, we will have to work together with IIT Kanpur.
CM Yogi said how to screen patients? How can virtual ICU, telemedicine be done? You guys think about this also. There is no shortage of money for treatment. The problem is not money. Doctors should set standards in both the fields of service and education.
CM Yogi said that the biggest asset for doctors is their compassion.
