Latest News :- Khalistan separatist terrorist Gurbadwant Bannun today (Monday) issued a fresh warning against traveling on Air India flights from November 1 to 19. He also said that Air India flights could be attacked on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Sikh massacre.

Justice for Sikhs (SFJ) founder Bannu, who holds dual citizenship in the US and Canada, had issued a similar warning last year. Earlier in the last few days, various Indian airlines had received bomb threats. Later it came to light that these were rumours. It is in this background that this new threatening message from Gurupadwant Pannu has come.

The new threat also comes against the backdrop of strained relations between the two countries as the country has accused India of targeting Khalistani supporters in Canada, including the killing of another Khalistani terrorist, Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Bannu's threat: In November last year (2023), he had announced through a video that the name of Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport would be changed and the airport would be closed on November 19. He also warned that no one should travel by Air India flight on that day.

Similarly, when news of a conspiracy to assassinate him came in December last year, he had threatened to attack the Indian Parliament on or before December 13. The Indian Parliament was attacked on 13 December 2001. On this year's Republic Day, he had threatened to kill Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and state police chief Gaurav Yadav. On January 26, Bhagwant had urged the terrorists to unite to kill the deer.

Bannun, who led the SFJ demanding a separate sovereign state for Sikhs, was declared a terrorist by the Home Ministry in 2020 on charges of sedition and separatism. A year before this, India had banned SFJ for its involvement in anti-national and subversive activities.
