And we sit in mourning for those who were unique in their era in terms of their purity of soul, strength of faith, foresight in matters, courage in the face of oppressors and jihad in the way of Allah. However, their martyrdom will make us stronger. We will avenge Khamenei’s death. Do not consider those who are killed in the path of Allah as dead, rather they are alive with their Lord.

The IRGC further said, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic and the vast majority of the population will continue the path of their guide with all their strength to protect the precious legacy of their leader and will remain steadfast in combating internal and external conspiracies against the country and teaching a lesson to the aggressors. This incident is indicative of a major crisis in Iran’s political system, where tensions over succession and retaliation are at their peak.
