Madhya Pradesh In Khandwa district, the district administration team raided a very serious and shocking illegal factory. In this factory, people were making fake ghee and ice cream from the fat of dead animals. This was a completely illegal and extremely dangerous practice, which was directly playing with the health of the people.
What happened in the raid?
On Friday morning, on the information of the informer, a joint team of District Administration, City Magistrate, Municipal Corporation, Food Department and Veterinary Department raided a place near Begum Park located in Imlipura ward of Moghat police station area. As the team opened the small rooms located in the narrow streets, surprising views started emerging from there. Animal fat, bones, skin and other remains were scattered all over the place. The team recovered a total of 79 tin canisters and 9 big blue drums filled with fake ghee from there. Apart from this, remains of animals were also found in many sacks. The main accused of this illegal factory, Anwar Qureshi, has been taken into custody by the team for questioning.
MLA’s statement
Khandwa MLA also reached the spot. Condemning this disgusting business, he said that it is a big mess with human health. He highly praised this action of the police and district administration. He also suggested that strict action should be taken against the accused like Rasuka and such illegal factories should be investigated in the entire district.
Health department’s concern
District administration officials said that this factory had become a direct threat to people’s health. The material recovered from here has been confiscated and the factory has been sealed. Veterinary department officials have taken fat and leather samples from the spot, which have been sent to the lab. Only after the lab report comes, will it be clearly known which animal’s fat it was. City Magistrate Bajrang Bahadur said that the accused Anwar Qureshi has been handed over to the police. He is being interrogated and soon an FIR will be registered against him and strict punitive action will be taken.
