Khatima: Gang rape of teenager, case registered against five teenagers

Fate�खटीमा । A serious case of gang rape of a 14-year-old girl has come to light in Khatima, Uttarakhand. On the complaint of the victim's father, the police have registered a case against five teenagers under various sections including the POCSO Act. The police is now busy searching for the accused.

The incident took place on October 13 during a religious function organized in a village. The victim boarded a bike with her classmate, who took her to the mango orchard of the village. Four other associates of the accused were also present there. It is alleged that all the five teenagers together gang-raped the girl.

After the incident, the accused threatened the victim that if she told anyone about this, they would kill her entire family. Due to fear the girl did not tell anything at home. But when the accused started threatening her continuously, she informed her family about the entire incident on Monday.

Kotwal Manohar Dasoni said that a case has been registered against all the five accused under serious sections, and the police is conducting raids to arrest them. The incident has sparked outrage in the local community, and people are demanding justice.
