Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif got irritated by PM Modi’s social media post. Reacting to the post, he said that peace will not come like this.
Khawaja Asif wrote about PM Modi’s ex-post, “By destroying the culture and spirit of cricket, Modi is destroying the possibilities of peace and resolution of problems in the subcontinent to save his politics. This way peace and respect are not restored. The score of Pakistan-India war was 6/0. We are not saying anything, Modi has been humiliated both in India and the world.”
The interesting thing in Khawaja Asif’s post is that only 72 hours ago, PM Shehbaz Sharif had claimed on the stage of the United Nations General Assembly that the Pakistani Army had shot down 7 jets of the Indian Air Force during the 4-day war with India, now 72 hours later, his own Defense Minister has claimed to have shot down 6 jets. The Pakistani government has lied many times since Operation Sindoor. He many times made false claims of shooting down Indian planes. The important thing is that the numbers in his claims are also changing again and again.
PM Modi had shared the post on X after India’s victory in the final. He had written, “Operation Vermillion on the playground. The result is the same, India’s victory. Congratulations to our cricketers on the victory.”
