Khesari Lal’s suggestion on PM Modi’s saving appeal, said – ‘Industrialists and artists should donate’
Popular Bhojpuri cinema artist Khesari Lal Yadav has expressed his frank opinion on the appeal for savings made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi amid rising inflation and economic challenges in the country. In fact, while interacting with journalists in the capital Patna, he also gave an important suggestion to the Prime Minister regarding rising prices and its impact on the general public.
In fact, while answering the questions of media persons at the airport on arrival in Patna on Friday, May 22, 2026, Khesari Lal Yadav has given his response to the Prime Minister’s appeal. The Prime Minister had urged citizens to save petrol and diesel, reduce foreign trips and avoid buying gold. Commenting on this, Khesari Lal said that as a common citizen he would like to say that the situation of inflation was similar in the three-four states where elections were held recently. He raised questions as to why these measures were not adopted at that time, although he refrained from commenting further, calling it a matter of politics.
Are only common citizens troubled by rising inflation?
In fact, he clarified that the people whom the Prime Minister is talking about saving will hardly be able to save. According to Khesari Lal Yadav, the person who is traveling in vehicles today is a millionaire somewhere. He stressed that the real need for savings is for those people who do not even have access to a bicycle. According to his opinion, only the common citizens are troubled by this rising inflation, who do not have any other arrangement other than the basic facilities of living.
Presented an important suggestion to improve the situation
Bhojpuri artist presented an important suggestion to improve the current economic situation of the country. He said that Prime Minister Modi should appeal to all the industrialists and Bollywood artists of the country to donate in the interest of the country. Khesari Lal Yadav argued that all these people have earned money only because of the affection and support of the public. He also expressed his desire to be a part of this initiative. He believes that all the artists and industrialists are capable and they should contribute to the welfare of the country so that the poor can benefit. Giving an example, he said that if people with assets worth Rs 100-100 crore or Rs 1000-1000 crore donate Rs 10-10 crore, Rs 1 crore each or even Rs 50-50 lakh, it would be much better than making the country’s goods expensive. His suggestion was that donations should be taken from the people who have earned from India and the same should be distributed to the poor.
Khesari Lal Yadav also spoke on the issue of NEET paper leak
Khesari Lal Yadav also expressed his views on the issue of NEET paper leak in the country. He said that this is not a new incident, but this trend has been going on for a long time. He expressed concern calling it a serious issue related to children. He believed that if Gen-Ji (young generation) does not come forward to solve this problem, such situations will be repeated in the future.
On the question asked regarding the politics going on in the ongoing encounter in Bihar, Khesari Lal Yadav described himself as an artist and said that he can answer the questions related to music better. He clearly said that a criminal has no caste and it is not appropriate to comment on this subject.
When asked about his upcoming films, Khesari Lal Yadav expressed concern over the current economic situation of the country. He said that the current situation is so bad that it is not right to release any film in such a situation. He described this situation as worse than demonetization, where people have to save their budget. It is unfair to release the film due to increase in prices of petrol, diesel, gas and all other essential commodities. He told that three-four of his films are ready, but due to the current circumstances they will not be released yet.
