Kia Carens Clavis Launched With New GT-Line And X-Line Trims

In order to refresh and expand the already extensive lineup of the Carens Clavis premium MPV, Kia India has introduced the MY26 version of the Carens Clavis GT-Line and X-Line trims. Additionally, the mid-level variants of this MPV have also been given more features, and the HTK (O) A variant of the Carens Clavis now also gets Level 2 ADAS. So, without any delay, here are all the details of the new 2026 Kia Carens Clavis MPV.

GT-Line variants

First off, let’s talk about the GT-Line trim of the Carens Clavis. There will be two variants in this trim, namely GTX and GTX+. Both of which will be offered in 6- and 7-seater configurations. The GTX 7-seater has been priced at Rs 19.8 lakh. Meanwhile, the GTX+ with the 7-seat layout is priced at Rs 21.56 lakh. Meanwhile, the 6-seater GTX and GTX+ variants are also priced the same as the 7-seater versions.

The Kia Carens Clavis GT-Line variants will exclusively be offered with a G1.5 turbo petrol engine. It is capable of producing 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the only transmission option available with the GT-Line trim will be the 7-speed DCT gearbox. There will be no manual and iMT gearbox options in the GT-Line variants.

Now, in terms of the exterior styling, the Kia Carens Clavis GT-Line variants will include black high-gloss roof rails, black ORVMs, a redesigned front bumper with body-colored inserts and integrated LED fog lights. The body sides of this MPV will get new garnish, a new set of alloy wheels, and lime-colored brake calipers, which adds to a sporty and performance.

On the inside, the new GT-Line variants of the Carens Clavis will be offered with metal pedals, with a premium sporty theme across the cabin. Other notable highlights will include digital key, panoramic sunroof, LED headlights, and factory-fitted dashcam. The new GT-Line variants of the Carens Clavis will target the buyers of MPVs who want a more sporty SUV-like styling.

As for the X-Line trim, there will be a single trim, and the 6-seater and the 7-seater Kia Carens Clavis have both been priced at Rs 21.56 lakh. As for the powertrain options, the X-Line trim will also use the same G1.5 turbo petrol engine, which will come mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

Its exterior highlights will include Dark Gun Metal exterior color, which will be the same as the other X-Line models in the Kia lineup. When compared to the GT-Line, the X-Line trim of the Carens Clavis will be more premium and stealth-focused and will be geared more towards luxury. In terms of features, it will come loaded with the same set as the GT-Line trim.

Lastly, the company has also introduced a new variant, namely GTX (O)A trim. The main highlight of this variant is the addition of Level 2 ADAS. Both the 6-seater and 7-seater variants have been priced at Rs 19.85 lakh. As for the mid HTK+ trim, it now gets an electric sunroof. The HTK+(O) trim gets a panoramic sunroof, LED headlights, and dashcam. Lastly, the entire lineup now gets Idle Stop Go (ISG).

On the launch of the new Kia Carens Clavis X-Line and GT-Line variants, Atul Sood, Senior Vice-President, Marketing & Sales, Kia India, stated, “Indian families today are seeking vehicles that combine practicality with premium experiences. With the MY26 update to the Carens Clavis, we are responding to evolving customer preferences by introducing distinctive styling trims and expanding access to highly demanded features such as the Electric Sunroof and Panoramic Sunroof.”

He added, “The addition of an ADAS-equipped variant further makes premium features accessible to more customers. And with the revised trim line up and introduction of new GT-Line and X-Line trims, we are confident that we will tick all the boxes.”
